I’ve been shooting compressors for Compass Compression for over a year now. All the photos have been very similar and used for marketing materials and their website but this week while waiting for a compressor to get cleaned up for it’s close up I walked around the plant with their marketing girl and grabbed a few shots of the plant. I think the plant itself with all the steel and guys in overalls really leads itself to a gritty, vintage black and white finish. Here’s what a few of the shots look like.
A princess, a famous comedian, perfect couples, fantastic kids, CEOs, Mexico, Miami, Winnipeg, Canmore and Calgary…..whew, what a year! I’m very thankful to be able to do what I love for a living. I have fun at work every day and it gives me the opportunity to spend time with my growing family. Thanks to everyone who has supported me the past few years. I’d be nowhere with out you. Needless to say it was an awesome year, here are a few images that will remind me of a fantastic 2011.

Last week I was asked to head out into Kananaskis Country to take a few pics of the Warwick family. Grandma was in from Ontario and they wanted to capture the moment. For those of you who haven’t stayed at the Delta Lodge at Kananaskis I highly recommend it especially if you have a family. There was cross country skiing, tobogganing, cfafts and a couple great skating rinks. We picked a beautiful location along the ridge then headed to the pond for a few pics of the family with their skates on. It was pretty grey that day but there was a beautiful light snow fall all in all it was perfect. Thanks to everyone involved I hope Grandma will enjoy a few of these in the cottage back in Ontario.
